We remind you that the proposed itinerary is subject to weather conditions in the area and at the time. The skipper may change the route for the safety of the passengers and the boat.

Regarding the visit to the island of Zante. We only visit this island with a very good weather report. About 2 out of 4 times. Otherwise, it is impossible to visit it for safety reasons. If you do not visit the island of Zakynthos, you will visit other places of interest that are equally or better. The area is fantastic and there are dozens of places to go.

Regarding the visit to the Shipwreck beach on the island of Zante. There are currently restrictions imposed by the Greek government and landing on the beach is prohibited. We will only be able to visit this beach if the restrictions are lifted by 2024.

We will also be able to modify the mooring points fixed in the ship's itinerary due to problems with port bookings.

Both embarkation and disembarkation take place in the same place, Marina Lefkas.

Clarifications:

* The destination fee includes all costs for food and drink, fuel and moorings for the whole week. Whatever we spend, you will not pay more. Non-alcoholic drinks are included, also beer and wine in moderate consumption.

The trips are 7 days long, Saturday departures:

Boarding time is 17-19h in the afternoon at the indicated port. It is possible to board passengers arriving on later flights.

The boat arrives back in the same port on Friday around 17-18h, spending the last night from Friday to Saturday already moored in port. Disembarkation time is Saturday 8-9h at the latest, although it is possible to disembark the same Friday afternoon.

Accommodation on the yacht consists of the following types of cabins:

• Double cabin for 1 person travelling alone who wants a cabin for single use. Shared bathroom with 2 or 3 other people.
• Double cabin for 1 person travelling alone who wants a cabin for single use. Private bathroom.
• Double cabin for 2 persons. Private bathroom.
• Double cabin for 2 people. Shared bathroom with 2 or 3 other people.

The bathroom is shared with 2 or 3 other people.

Characteristics of the ship:

Latest models from the Beneteau Oceanis shipyard. Boats considered to be in the Premium category. And that are a little ahead of their competitors. To be highlighted:

• Model 51 is one of the company's flagships. It is simply spectacular. When you see it, you won't believe it.
• Boats with beautiful finishes and a very avant-garde line.
• One of the largest folding bathing platforms in its length for easy bathing in the coves.
• Efficient interior space optimisation without a card table.
• They are one of the shipyards that provide greater breadth and width in their ships.

Our base is in Marina Lefkas, in the town of Lefkas itself, on the island of Leucade or Lefkada. The nearest airport is Preveza, just 20 km away.

360 km from Athens to the west, 4 to 5 hours by road. Or 1 hour by plane from Athens to Preveza airport, 30 minutes by road from the Lefkas base.

Arrival in Lefkas:

• The best and cheapest way is to fly direct from the mainland to the capital Athens (Vueling, Iberia and Aegean Airlines).
  Then take a direct bus from Athens to Lefkas, 5 hours, which costs 35 euros/person and leaves you right in front of the embarkation point. Or a private road transport Athens-Lefkas, about 4:30h, and priced from 300 euros.
  There are 4 daily buses, 7:00h, 10:00h, 13:00h, 16:30h, 20:30h.

• Another way is to fly to Preveza from Spain with a stopover in Rome/Fiumicino, or any other stopover. The prices tend to be high and the stopovers long. Once in Preveza you will have to take a 30-minute taxi ride to Lefkas.

• Another idea is to fly on Friday, the day before boarding, to a European capital that has direct flights to Preveza on Saturday. At the moment there are direct flights to Preveza on Saturdays in Paris, London, Manchester, Milan, Vienna, Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Hamburg or Dusseldorf, among others. If you choose this option you will have to spend the night from Friday to Saturday in this place.

• There is a ferry line from Corfu to Lefkas on alternate days, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In that case, flying to Corfu and then going to Lefkas by ferry from Corfu is also a good option. Take the opportunity to stay overnight and visit the beautiful town of Corfu.

RETURN

The trip ends in Lekfas on Saturday at 9am, but you can disembark the day before Friday at 8pm.

To return from Lefkas to Spain, the most economical way is to return to Athens and again take a direct flight to the mainland. We can arrange for you to return from Lefkas to Athens, either by bus or private transport:

• By bus with departures on Saturdays 07:00h, 09:30h, 12:30h, 17:15h. Then, once in Athens, fly from Athens to the mainland by direct flight.

• By plane from Preveza airport to your destination city, with one stopover.

• By ferry from Lefkas to Corfu and then a flight from Corfu to the mainland with a stopover. The Lefkas-Corfu route departs on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Our recommendation if you have a few more days of travel, about 10 days, is:

• Travel to Athens by plane, visit Acropolis.
• Possible 1-day organised visit to Delphi.
• Bus to Lefkas 5:30h.
• Car rental and visit of the monasteries of Meteora, 3:15h by road from Lefkas. Afterwards visit.
• 1 week sailing trip to the Ionian Islands.
• Ferry to Corfu from Lefkas, visit of Corfu.
• Return to the mainland from Corfu or Preveza.

• Restaurants during the week. At least 3 dinners out.

Before travelling, it is advisable to visit your bank to confirm that your credit card will work in the country. Also ask about the commission for withdrawals from ATMs abroad.

Since June 2017, the vast majority of phone companies have incorporated roaming (data consumption and calls outside Spain) in our tariffs. Now there is no extra cost for consuming data or minutes of our tariffs outside Spanish territory in a number of countries of the European Union, Greece being one of them.

We recommend that you always go abroad with your internet data connected. This will give you a lot of security so that you will not get lost at any time.

Coverage during the route is not always guaranteed and you will not always enjoy 4G or 5G, only normal speed.

The sailing cruise to the Greek Islands does not include travel insurance to cover hypothetical medical expenses at the destination. Please contact us to request one.

If you are not covered for medical expenses at your destination, you can also apply for a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). You can order it online and it takes a week to arrive by post.
