As an expert in crossings, Joan<\/strong><\/p>\n

With over 25,000 miles under keel, I have always been involved in cruising sailing with passengers, who taught me everything I know.<\/p>\n

I have also been involved in teaching in nautical schools, where I am currently teaching for the Yacht Captain qualification.<\/p>\n

Over the last 25 years I have sailed in many areas of the world and that gives me the ability to know which areas are suitable for you and which are not.<\/p>\n

I had to train first, though. First at the Escuela de Capacitaci\u00f3n N\u00e1utico-Pesquera de Catalu\u00f1a, where I obtained the international Merchant Navy qualification of \"Patr\u00f3n de Altura\", and I learned quite a lot. A few more years at the Faculty of Nautical Studies in Barcelona, where I obtained the Diploma in Maritime Navigation, and I learnt less.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I am aware of the great responsibility of my work on board. That is why I consider myself a cautious and responsible skipper.<\/p>\n

The safety of the passengers and the ship is my primary concern.<\/p>\n

I will also try to make sure you have a great time and a nice experience by the sea \ud83d\ude09.<\/p>\n

I like to discover new places, new beaches, new adventures, new islands... I will show them to you on our exciting voyages.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The idea of creating M\u00eal\u00e9e Travels was born in 2007 during a sailing trip where we crossed the Dalmatian Islands in their entirety from north to south.<\/p>\n

We often find ourselves wondering how something so beautiful can be so unknown to most people.<\/p>\n

However, it was not until 2013 that the idea germinated, as a result of our desire to share our experiences on board with you, which led to the creation of the travel agency.<\/p>\n

Regarding the name of M\u00eal\u00e9e Travels. As a fan of the legendary adventure game \"The Secret of Monkey Island\", I thought it fitting to use the name of one of the islands featured in the pirate videogame, \"M\u00eal\u00e9e Island\", as a tribute to the work of art that made so many of us dream as children. Thank you Ron once again for inspiring me to live my own adventure.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t
